We all try to live in this place
A place of vehement confusion
A place where each is his own
Too many trials and too much treason
We all try to be happy
And get out of our unhappy state
But there are too many lies
And too much deception
Happiness, frustrates
We all have this cold, dark lair
Which surrounds us and fills us up
This becomes our shelter and our cocoon
A place to just sink in
Try and run away from the anxiety
Try and escape gloom
Try and fight misery
The reason we exist,
Why we die so soon
I look myself in the mirror
And see a ghostly reflection back
My identity isn’t me at all
The whole world’s a sham,
Its just black
There are these desperate times
When I just want to break away
The reflection isn’t mine anymore
Where the path, the way?
The reason I exist,
The reason I live,
It all seems so vague and so insignificant
The world is a big, wide place to be
And in that huge place,
What am I doing there?
I am afterall;
Just li’l ol’ me.

hey really nice poem umm the answer well i dunno ..it really hard 2 xplain y v do wat v do .. y v act how v do ... and wat'z life all bout ... lueless as yet .. but very nice written HAT'S off..

well nice poem ... though yeh even i dunt kno y do v doo wat v doo .. try 2 act diff .. and wat life all about m very clueless about such stuff ... jus try 2 keep the poems line the same lenght ..gives a better feel 2 it ... other the flow of it stops .. (reference 2 2nd last stanza .) i ryt a lotta poetry 2 .. tc

i dun write poems n stuff but surely like readin 'em ... i gotta admit this was da best i wud have come across... n yeah .. even i beleive in da mantra "life is a halluicination !!! " ... sometimes (most of da times actually ;-)) v dun knw wat r v doin n y ... but theres somethin dat alwayzz keeps us interstin in dis so called "lyfe" ... once again ... amazin poem ... tc Vinit
